Transfer Students
There are two interesting trends in the area of students transferring into the CSUS universities.
First, the number of students transferring from Connecticut Community Colleges continues to climb, up 46% since 2001. In fact, at 6 of the 12 Connecticut Community Colleges, transfer students to CSUS reached an all-time high in 2008.
Second, more than 1,000 students transferred from out-of-state colleges and universities to CSUS for Fall 2008, and three out of four, about 76%, were Connecticut residents coming home to attend the CSUS universities.
Overall, transfers from institutions outside Connecticut are up 31.5% since 2003.
